As you may know, each year GiveFavors.com selects a charity and we donate a percentage of our sales to them. It's our way of spreading the joy from all of your special occassions to those that may not be experiencing such happy times. In previous years we have contributed to well known organizations such as Oprah's Angel Network, but this year we decided to focus on a small local organization.

Our charity recipient for 2012 is Hilltop Preschool - a Non-profit Parent Participation Cooperative preschool in Foutain Valley, CA. Early childhood education has always been near and dear to my heart.  After doing a little research it seems there are not too many organizations that donate to pre-kindergarden education. I have always been a strong believer that if you start early with children - giving them a nurturing enviornment to play and learn in, then you will create positive experiences that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. 

A liitle more about the school - Located in Orange County, CA Hilltop was founded in 1957 and has been consistenly providing a nurturing enviornement for hundreds of families. A play based, Reggio-inspired curriculum that addresses childeren's social and emotional development for pre-school, pre-k and private kindergarten. This school is truly one of a kind in that each child's uniqueness and individuality is valued and nurtured in an atmosphere of respect and caring.
